About IWMW 2013
IWMW 2013, the Institutional Web Management Workshop, is the seventeenth in the series of annual workshops aimed at people working in institutional Web management teams in the UKs higher and further education communities.
The workshop will address strategic, policy, technical, managerial and resourcing issues relevant to the management of large-scale Web services.
Who Should Attend?
The event is intended primarily for those involved in the management of institutional Web services. This can include members of institutional Web teams, policy makers, managers and support staff. In addition the event will also be relevant for those involved in other institutional online services such as institutional repositories, MOOCS, VLEs, VREs, etc.
Although aimed primarily at the HE and FE communities, the workshop may also be of interest to related public sector organisations and other bodies with links to the sector.
Where and When?
The IWMW 2013 event will take place on 26-28th June 2013 at the University of Bath.
Format
The event consists of a mixture of plenary talks and parallel workshop sessions. In addition the social events provide opportunities for networking.
Cost
The workshop costs 350 for members of the higher and further education communities. This will include 2 nights accommodation, entrance to all sessions, meals and social events. For those who wish to arrive on the Tuesday evening, the night before the start of the event, an additional nights accommodation can be booked for 60.
