Social Networking vs Websites? …..

Overheard at an international conference on Digital Marketing – Social Networking has taken over the role websites used to play. Companies no longer need a website, as long as they have a strong presence on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I have my own ideas about this one – how do other IWMW’rs feel?
