Review

The IWMW 2012 event took place at the University of Edinburgh on 18-20 June 2012. There were a total of 172 registered delegates, together with a remote audience who watched a live video stream of all the plenary talks. A summary of the event evaluation is available.

The programme for IWMW 2012 is available, together with detailed information of the plenary talks and workshop sessions.

Note that since we returned to a 3-day format we were able to provide a comprehensive series of talks and workshop sessions. There were eleven plenary talks and 19 workshop sessions, from which delegates were able to choose three. We also ran a session on "New to the Sector? New to Web Management? New to IWMW?" which provided orientation for those who had not attended the event previously or were new to the sector or the community. We continued to provide social events which provided an opportunity for informal discussions and networking. In addition to the event dinner we also had a wine reception at Our Dynamic Earth.
